Maximum Number of Outlets:
Will vary in each situation. Depth of the outlet plus the back pressure on the pump will vary, so your situation may produce different results. But a general rule of thumb is to get a pump that provides 1 liter of air per minute per outlet at 1 psi.
An open airline with allow more lines while an airstone will put more pressure on the pump. And box filters and sponges will create more pressure still. Also, clogged airstones and filters will also limit the performance of any air pump. When in doubt, go up a pump size. You can always bleed off any excess air.
General Guidelines:

Fast shipping great product
Placed my order over the weekend and it arrived today! Super fast and very well packaged. I purchased the 25m. I have 13 tanks, with one line being 50 feet farther than the others and that line being split again 3x. All pumps have the perfect amount of air. I still have a little left to bleed off. But this is way more quiet than my alita 80 and pushes enough air for 15-18 tanks just fine.

AL-35 ROCKS!
I decided on this model for my fish room after talking to the owner of the business. It arrived in 2 days flat! I got it with the 12 piece gang valve, which made setup for multiple tanks much easier. Right now I have 2 sponge filters running on a 180, 125, 2-55s, 33 long, and a 75. These are single lines that are split by a dual gang valve to balance the air flow. I have additional sponges on 2-40 breeders, a 20 long, and a few nano tanks. The larger sponges have air stones, which takes more power. I also have 2 baby brine shrimp bottles going. It's practically silent and I still have air bleeding off. It's so powerful I can't even run some lines on full blast. I wish I had done this sooner to break free from the cost and maintenance of HOB and canister filters.

Linear Air Pump AL-25M
I have the AL-25M running for over a month and a half now. It runs very quiet. There are 13 fish tanks with sponge filters and air stones running. I have all the air I need and then some. I have bought other items from "your fish stuff" with no problems. Everything I have gotten was above what I expected. Would recommend “your fish stuff” to anyone!!
best I've seen !
I own two of these Alita pumps, and after getting rid of all the pumps running my fish room my electric bill dropped over $100.00 and I have air to spare, I recommend these pumps to all my fish keeping friends. One of the best things about these pumps is that they are SILENT ! and so inexpensive to run ! and you can not beat the price on these pumps. I can't say enough good things about them!
